Sal’s Repair Services

  • Basic Maintenance

Oil Change: We drain the old engine oil and replace it with fresh, clean oil, along with a new oil filter to ensure proper engine lubrication.

Fluid Checks/Refills: We check all essential fluids (coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid) and top them off or replace them as necessary.

Air Filter Replacement: We remove the old, clogged air filter and install a new one to improve engine airflow and fuel efficiency.

Tire Rotation: We rotate the tires to ensure even wear, prolong tire life, and maintain safe driving conditions.

  • Engine Repair and Maintenance

Engine Diagnostics: Using specialized diagnostic tools, we can pinpoint issues with the engine (e.g., misfires, poor fuel efficiency, knocking sounds).

Timing Belt/Chain Replacement: The timing belt or chain ensures that the engine’s valves and pistons work in sync. If it wears out or breaks, the engine can suffer catastrophic damage. We replace the timing belt/chain when necessary.

Head Gasket Repair: A blown head gasket can cause coolant to leak into the engine, leading to overheating and severe engine damage. We replace the head gasket and ensure the engine is properly sealed.

Fuel Injector Cleaning/Replacement: If fuel injectors are clogged or malfunctioning, the engine won’t get the proper fuel mixture. We clean or replace the injectors to restore engine performance.

  • Electrical Services

Battery Replacement: If the battery is weak or dead, we’ll remove it and install a new one, ensuring the correct voltage and capacity for your vehicle.

Alternator Repair/Replacement: The alternator charges the battery. If it's not functioning properly, your battery may not charge, causing electrical failures. We test and replace the alternator as needed.

Starter Motor Issues: If the vehicle doesn’t start, the starter motor may be the issue. We inspect, repair, or replace the starter to ensure the engine turns over properly.

Wiring and Fuses: We inspect and repair any damaged or corroded wiring or replace blown fuses that may affect the vehicle’s electrical system.

  • Transmission Services

Transmission Fluid Change: Just like engine oil, transmission fluid can degrade over time, leading to slipping or rough shifting. We drain and replace the fluid to keep the transmission working smoothly.

Transmission Repair/Replacement: If there are more severe transmission issues, we may need to repair or replace parts of the transmission, such as the clutch or torque converter, or even replace the entire transmission if necessary.

  • Brake Services

Brake Pad Replacement: Over time, brake pads wear down and lose their effectiveness. We replace them with new pads that provide better stopping power.

Brake Fluid Flush: Old or contaminated brake fluid can reduce braking efficiency. We perform a brake fluid flush to ensure your braking system operates at peak performance.

Rotor Resurfacing/Replacement: If the brake rotors are warped or damaged, we may resurface or replace them to ensure smooth braking without vibrations.

  • Tires and Wheels

Tire Repair/Replacement: We repair punctured tires (if safe) or replace worn-out tires with new ones, ensuring the correct tire size and type for your vehicle.

Tire Balancing: If your vehicle vibrates at certain speeds, it may be due to unbalanced tires. We balance your tires by adjusting the weight distribution to ensure smooth driving.

Tire Rotation and Alignment: We rotate your tires to ensure even wear and perform a wheel alignment to ensure that the tires wear evenly and the vehicle tracks straight.

  • Suspension and Steering

Shock/Strut Replacement: Worn-out shocks or struts can lead to a bouncy or unstable ride. We replace these components to restore smooth handling and comfort.

Steering Rack Repair/Replacement: If the steering feels loose or unresponsive, the steering rack may need repair or replacement to improve handling.

Suspension Alignment: We ensure that all suspension components are aligned properly to prevent uneven tire wear and improve handling.

  • Exhaust System Repairs

Muffler Repair/Replacement: If your exhaust is noisy, the muffler may be damaged. We replace or repair the muffler to reduce noise and improve efficiency.

Catalytic Converter Repair/Replacement: A malfunctioning catalytic converter can affect emissions and fuel efficiency. We inspect, clean, or replace the catalytic converter if needed.
